Nikon’s ProStaff 550 6X Laser RangeFinder is a pocket-sized, waterproof range finder that will accurately measure distance from 11 yards to 550 yards with precision. It is the perfect size and profile for any hunt and is easy to use in the field with a high-contrast LCD display, single button control and a continuous tracking feature that allows for ranging of multiple or moving targets. The ProStaff 550 Rangefinder is unaffected by extremes in temperatures, so consistent ranging can be accomplished in even the toughest hunting conditions. The unit measures ranges in either yards or meters and features an automatic power shutoff after the reading has been displayed for eight seconds. Nikon’s ProStaff 550 features a six power monocular with precisely ground and polished lens glass that is multicoated with anti-reflective compounds to improve light transmission, clarity, and color rendition. The rangefinder provides an exit pupil of 3.5mm for maximum brightness under less-than-ideal lighting conditions. The eyepiece is adjustable, with a range of +/- 4 diopters, and has 18mm of eye relief and folds down for use with eyeglasses.
