The EOTech 557.G23FTS Holographic Weapon Sight with 3x Magnifier (2nd Generation G23, FTS Mount - Flip-To-Side) combines the EOTech 557.AR223 Holographic Weapon Sight and EOTech G23.FTS 3x Magnifier w/ FTS Mount (Flip-To-Side mount).
For many, target ranges vary in ever-changing real-world conditions. The MPO provides a solution for engaging threats in CQB situations, then quickly transitioning to a 500m targeting or surveillance situation, and then quickly back to a 25m room clearing exercise. Instant transition is achieved through a quick Flip -to Side (FTS) mount that offers a simple, quick disconnect feature to remove the magnifier and base. This durable, night vision compatible system offers wide field optical performance with superior light transmission for visibility in extreme low light conditions.
The EOTech 557 Holographic Weapon Sight with G23.FTS 3x Magnifier and FTS Mount is configured with a new ballistic matching reticle. The reticle provides 4 aiming dots for target distances of 0-300m, 400m, 500m, and 600m. When viewed without magnification, the 65 MOA circle and fine center 1 MOA aiming dot are used, ensuring precision accuracy. Only through the unique optical properties of holography, the aiming dots remain 1MOA in size, regardless of magnification (yet your target has increased in size by 3x)! Precise, medium range targeting (out to 600m) can now be achieved.
Field of view is optimized by integrating high quality prisms that maintain the rectangular shaped sight picture of the EOTech 557 Holographic Weapon Sight with G23.FTS 3X Magnifier with Flip-To-Side Mount system, and since the illuminated reticle image is imbedded within the Holo Weapon Sight, there is no risk of losing zero when the magnifier element is taken off or re-attached. This is the 2nd Generation of L3 EOTech magnifiers. It offers a half inch more eye relief, positions the windage and elevation adjustments inside of the optic rather than in the mount, less moving parts in the mount which makes the mount even more stable, and has a quick release thow lever on the bottom of the mount which allows the quick removal of both the optic and the mount. This magnifier aligns perfectly with standard height sights and comes with a 7mm riser to accomadate the 7mm raised sights.

In holography, all the information required to reconstruct the reticle image is recorded everywhere in the Heads-Up display window. If the window is obstructed by mud, snow, rain, etc., the HWS remains fully operational , with point of aim/impact being maintained. Even in such extreme cases where the laminated window is shattered, the HWS is fully functional! As long as the operator can see through any portion of the window, the entire reticle pattern is visible on target...the operator can still engage with confidence.

Easy to set up and install on my Ruger 5.56 C and dial in quickly, It truely made an already great gun into a leathal, highly accurate weapon. Quick acquisition of target with dead on accuracy. The confidence of this weapon was amazing and this Eotech 557 with the 3x flip to the side magnifier absolutley made this weapon .
